Renuka Tripu is a sophomore Biology major with a minor in computer science. She is a member of Delta Epsilon Mu pre-health fraternity, a tutor through the counseling center, and a Maryland Images Tour Guide.
Shefali Shah is hoping to get her undergraduate degrees in computer science and biology from the University of Maryland. She loves to play tennis, She is a part of the Terrapin Tap Troupe, and in her free time she enjoys finishing crossword puzzles with her roommates. On campus, she does research at the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Lab. After college, she hopes to travel around the world for a year and then go to either graduate school or medical school.
Shivani Patel is a Physiology and Neurobiology major with a minor in Spanish as well as Human Development. She is a Pre-Med student and plans to study pediatrics in the future. Currently she is involved in several on-campus organizations in which she gets to work and play with children and have tons of fun!
Taylor Throwe is an Environmental Science and Technology major at UMD.When she graduates, she hopes to become a conservation biologist. She is currently studying abroad in London.
Christine Kim is an Accounting major. She loves eating and trying new foods! She likes to sleep and hang out with friends...and of course feed our fishies!
Laura Poulsen is a candidate of Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering and a minor in Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a Maryland Distinguished Scholar award winner and has been on the Deans List. She enjoys knitting and gloving and anything that involves hands on work. She is on the Laparoscopy sub team for Team BASS for this very same reason.
Winston Liu is a sophomore Bioengineering major. He is also a member of the Quality Enhancement Systems and Teams (QUEST) Program at Maryland, the Society of Bioengineers, America Reads America Counts, MD sustainability engineering, Images (campus tour guide), and my internship at NIH.
Angela Leasca is a community and behavioral health major who is active in her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and a member of the Student Health Advisory Committee which serves as the student voice of the University Health Center. She also serves on the tobacco subcommittee to ensure a successful transition of our campus to a smoke free campus! Outside of school, Angela enjoys traveling, baking, and volunteering.
